In his most recent music A.Latif-Zade has tried to create a new synthesis of Eastern and Western,of Jazz and Contemporary.
The first international success came in 1987 when the young Alisher's work, "Oriental Sketch"for saxophone and piano won the selection in Germany for a concert of the Tajik composers works.The recognition came in Uzbekistan with the premiere of his work "In Memory Alfred Schnittke " for symphony orchestra, performed at the First International Festival of Contemporary Music "Tashkent 98" (according to press reviews-top of the festival). In December 98 the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan organizes a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of American composer George Gershwin.At this concert, works by Gershwin and ragtime "An American in Tashkent " (by A.Latif-Zade) for symphony orchestra were performed.The next year brought success in working with Italian director S.M.Salvato on the play "Mountain Giants" by Pirandello .The main success came to the composer when he was selected (one of 16 composers from the Silk Road countries) to participate in the "Silk Road Project Inc "Silkroad (arts organization),initiated by Internationally acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma.(2000) His commissioned work «Circles of Time "was featured and performed for the Project to an audience of highly -respected peers, including well-known US composerJohn Williams and Boston Symphony Orchestra conductorSeiji Ozawa. Continuing search and the experiment in the latest compositions, A.Latif-Zade allocates the large role to the musicians not only as to the performers, but also as to the actors. The Tadjik folklore is a basis and core of all compositions of the composer.

Overall Russian-American pedagogical experience of A.Latif-Zade (30 years) includes two Special music school (for gifted children) Dushanbe and Manhattan; as well National Conservatory of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
A.Latif-Zadeh has taught and continues teaching the music, theory, arranging, improvisation, piano. Among the pupils and students - are graduates of the Juilliard School, Hunter College (Manhattan), Conservatories of St. Petersburg, Tashkent and Almaty, working in the United States, Sweden, China, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
In 2015 Dr. Alisher Latif-Zade was invited to the Avloniy Academy of Music (Cupertino.CA) on the teaching position where he has been teaching the the piano, composition, theory and ensemble.
